Getting Started
The Meeting Graphics by SPX Chrome extension works in any browser-based video meeting — Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex, and more. No virtual camera driver required.
Requirements
- Google Chrome version 110 or later (or any Chromium-based browser)
- A free or paid SPX account
Installation
- Visit the Chrome Web Store and click Add to Chrome.
- Confirm the permissions when prompted.
- The SPX icon will appear in your Chrome toolbar.
- Click the icon to sign in with your SPX account.
Using Graphics in a Meeting
- Open a meeting in your browser (Meet, Teams, Webex, etc.).
- Click the SPX icon in the Chrome toolbar.
- Select a graphic from the popup panel.
- Click Apply — the graphic appears on your video feed instantly.
To hide a graphic, click Clear in the panel or close the popup.

Customising Your Graphics
Click Open Editor in the extension panel:
- Templates — browse and apply pre-built graphic layouts.
- Brand kit — set your logo, primary colour, and font once; apply everywhere.
- Quick text — update name and title fields without opening the full editor.
Permissions
The extension requests the following permissions:
- Camera access — to overlay graphics on your video stream.
- Active tab — to detect when you are in a supported meeting.
- Storage — to save your preferences and graphic templates locally.
Troubleshooting
Graphics are not showing on my video Make sure you have granted camera permission to the extension. Go to Chrome Settings → Privacy → Camera and allow access.
Extension popup is blank Try reloading the meeting page and clicking the extension icon again. If the issue persists, reinstall the extension.
Graphics look blurry Open the extension settings and switch the rendering quality to High or Ultra.
Teams or Meet does not detect the overlay Some meeting apps require the extension to be pinned to the toolbar. Click the puzzle icon in Chrome, find SPX, and click the pin icon.
